Prof. Jose-Antonio Fernandez has been invited to attend the 3rd Global Botanic Gardens Congress which is being held from April 16-20, 2007, in Wuhan, China. The Global Botanic Gardens Congress is held every three years and is recognized as the primary international event for botanic gardens worldwide. This is the first time it has been held in Asia and will mark the 20th anniversary of the Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI).

 

Prof. Fernandez will present the CrocusBank Project to the botanic garden community in order to have their collaboration in the creation of Crocus spp. collection by using the genetic resources stored in botanic gardens worldwide.
