San Martín de la Vega del Alberche is a municipality in the county of El Barco de Avila, Piedrahita, also in the province of Avila, located between the southern slopes of the Sierra de Villafranca and the northern Sierra de Piedra Aguda. It is watered by the Alberche River, born in the municipality. The village is at 1510 meters height.
