Kate Humble goes on the trail of some of the world's most valuable spices revealing their history, trade, mythology and usage in Spice Trail.

 
The British TV channel BBC2, thorough the filmmaker Lion Television (www.liontv.com/London/Home), is making a series about spices (Spice Trail) leaded by Richard Shaw (Executive Producer).
The BBC star Kate Humble, specialised in wildlife and science programmes, is the host of the series (www.bbc.co.uk/nature/programmes/who/kate_humble.shtml). The first chapter is dedicated to Saffron. The production team composed by Mrs. Humble, Paul Sapin (Director), Tobby Follet (Producer), Angel Campanero (Assistant Producer), and the image and sound technical staff, were filming in the Laboratory of Prof. J.A. Fernández at the beginning of November, as well as in various localities of La Mancha (Spain). The BBC series will present the CROCUSBANK project for the TV public worldwide
